ADDENDUM TO REGULAR COMMISSIONERS COURT MEETING FOR EMERGENCY AGENDA ITEMS, PURSUANT TO TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE 551.045 AUTHORIZING EMERGENCY AGENDA

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding community flooding and emergency management activities. (Wilson)

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding ratifying and extending the current Burnet County's Disaster Declaration, originally issued on July 5, 2025, for 30 days. The declaration will remain in effect until August 5, 2025.(Wilson)

a. Allied Services Inc (Use of Helicopters in search and recovery efforts)
b. Food and water for first responders.
c. Texas Materials donation of 5000 tons of road base to assist county in road rebuilding.
d. Any donation offered or received after the posting of this addendum and prior to today's meeting.
e. Any mutual aid donation from another governmental entity.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action authorizing Burnet County employees, upon obtaining permission from private property owners, to enter private property strictly to remove flood debris material attributable to damage of Burnet County Roads. (Wilson)

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding the declaration of a financial emergency due to the floods commencing on or about July 4th and ongoing. Said Declaration includes authorizing the use of up to $1,000,000 from the county fund balance to aid in the following areas:
a. Overtime for Road and Bridge Employees
b. Overtime for Sheriff's Office Employees
c. Emergency contracts with outside contractors for emergency protective measures and cleanup.
d. Overtime for county employees that are actively engaged in flood cleanup.
e. Debris Management and other Burnet County Contracts.
f. The purchase, rentals, of equipment and/or supplies to be used for debris clean-up on county roadways or rebuilding roadways.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding authorizing the County Judge to negotiate and execute an MOU with Ark of The Highland Lakes, for long-term recovery efforts, which includes separating funds dedicated for the floods on or about July 4, 2025, and to include reporting to the Counties, State, and Federal Government their activities.
