An agenda packet containing detailed information on the items listed below is distributed to the County Judge, County Clerk, County Tax Assessor-Collector, and the County Chair of each political party that made nominations by primary elections for the last general election of state and county officers preceding the date of the meeting at least four (4) days preceding the meeting. The agenda packet is also posted on the county website at www.burnetcountytexas.org, under Public Meetings. A hard copy of the agenda packet is available in the County Clerk's office. Our Mission Statement: The mission of Burnet County is to maintain overall efficient and effective management of county resources while providing the  services mandated by state and federal law and desired by the citizens of Burnet County.

Call to Order and Establish Quorum

Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance to the Flags
 
3.
Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding the upcoming retirement of the current Elections Administrator and the selection of a successor, including: (Wilson/ Ferguson)
a. Succession planning
b. Discussion of job requirements and minimum qualifications
c. Posting Election Administrator position
d. Screening and interview process

Closed Session: Pursuant to Section 551.074, Texas Government Code - To discuss and deliberate about officers and employees of the government body relating to the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer, to wit: Elections Administrator. (Wilson)

Reconvene in Open Session. (Wilson)
 
6.
Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding requesting commissioners court to allow the current Elections Administrator to become an assistant for a period of up to 60 days. (Wilson)

Adjournment
 
The Elections Commission reserves the right to adjourn into Closed Session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any matters as authorized by the Texas Government Code including, but not limited to, Sections: 551.071 (Consultation with Attorney) 551.074 (Deliberations regarding Personnel Matters). Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Burnet County will provide for reasonable accommodations for persons attending the Elections Commission.
