Public Comments - Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.007 and the Burnet County commissioners court rules of decorum, any person may make comment on any item not appearing on the agenda. Any comments made will not be deliberated on by the Commissioners Court during this Public Comments agenda item. Public Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding a burn ban for the unincorporated areas of Burnet County. (Wilson)
 
5.
Discuss, consider, and take appropriate regarding the following from Agrilife: (Wilson)
a.  Interpretation Luncheon update;
b. Year-end update from various youth organizations in Burnet County. 
 
 
6.
Recognition of Austyn Shell and Haven Huffstuttler for their accomplishments at the 2025 Junior National Finals Rodeo. (Wilson/ Beierle)

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding appointments for committees and boards:
a. Appointment of Pam McGregor to Burnet County Emergency Services District (ESD) No. 3 board - Term to expire December 31, 2027 (Luther);
b. Reappointment of Thomas Guess and John White to Burnet County Emergency Services District (ESD) No. 4 board - Term to expire December 31, 2027 (Beierle);
c. Reappointment of John Smallwood and Barbara Postel to Burnet County Emergency Services District (ESD) No. 7 board - Term to expire December 31, 2027 (Beierle);
d. Appointment of Jill Kayser to Burnet County Emergency Services District (ESD) No.7 board to fill an unexpired term - Term to expire 12/31/2026 (Beierle); and
e. Reappointment of Alice Price and James Shamard to Burnet County Emergency Services District (ESD) No. 8 board - Term to expire 12/31/2027 (Beierle).

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding creating and appointing an original board of directors for Burnet County Services District (ESD) No. 10, whose terms will expire on December 31, 2025: (Beierle)
a. Appointment of James Shamard, Ned Ewart, Barker Keith III, and Opal Campbell to Burnet County Emergency Services District (ESD) No. 10 board.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding creating and appointing an original board of directors for Burnet County Services District (ESD) No. 11, whose terms will expire on December 31, 2025: (Luther)
a. Appointment of Pete Fussler, Kenny Schell, and Gene Broadway to Burnet County Emergency Services District (ESD) No. 11 board.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding voting for the nominated Texas Association of Counties (TAC) Health and Employee Benefits Pool Board of Directors. (Wilson)

a. Approve, sign, and execute all necessary documents and actions to accept a grant from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) for flood warning sirens, flood gauges, and other related equipment in an amount not to exceed $1,000,000;
b. Approve, sign, and execute all necessary documents and actions to enter into a contract with 1 Community to gather content for Burnet County Tourism Department in an amount not to exceed $9,000;
c. Approve, sign, and execute all necessary documents and actions to enter into a Peace Officer Training Reimbursement Agreement with Owen Seaver in an amount to not exceed $30,419.96;
d. Approve, sign, and execute all necessary documents and actions to enter into a Peace Officer Training Reimbursement Agreement with Brandon Cook in an amount to not exceed $30,419.96; 
e. Approve, sign, and execute all necessary documents and actions to enter into an agreement with Middle County Public Library for Family Place Libraries Technical Assistance for the Bertram Library; and
f.  Approve, sign, and execute all necessary documents and actions to enter into an Interlocal Agreement and adopt an Order with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Burnet County regarding utilizing space on the radio tower located at Hwy 281 North of Burnet, Burnet County.
