An agenda packet containing detailed information on the items listed below is distributed to the County Judge, Commissioners, and County Clerk the Friday preceding the meeting. The agenda packet is also posted on the county website at www.burnetcountytexas.org, under Public Meetings. A hard copy of the agenda packet is available in the County Clerk's office. Public Comments - Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.007 and the Burnet County commissioners court rules of decorum, any person may make comment on any item not appearing on the agenda. Any comments made will not be deliberated on by the Commissioners Court during this Public Comments agenda item. Public Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person. Public comment for items listed on this agenda will be heard when the agenda item is called.

Executive Session. An executive/ closed session meeting will be held pursuant to section 551.071(2) of the Texas Government Code (consultation with attorney) for the Commissioners Court to consult with and seek advice from its attorney regarding: (a) the proposed 765 kV electric transmission line to be located in Burnet County; (b) the proposed enactment of a regional planning commission pursuant to Chapter 391 of the Texas Local Government Code and other authority; and (c) any other matter described in this agenda. Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action (as necessary or desired) regarding any item discussed in Executive Session. (Wilson)

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding a burn ban for the unincorporated areas of Burnet County. (Wilson)

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to allow the use of county equipment and labor to assist the Burnet County Rodeo Association (a non-profit organization, pursuant to section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and other authority) regarding arena preparation for its upcoming demolition derby. Such action may be authorized if deemed to serve a recognized public purpose, including economic development pursuant to chapter 381 of the Texas Local Government Code and other authority. (Beierle)

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Burnet County RFQ 26-4090-01 for Architect Services for the Burnet County Facilities Master Plan, in an amount not to exceed $75,000. The Commissioners Court shall interview: (a) interview RFQ Respondent Parkhill, RFQ Respondent Lopez, and RFQ Respondent BSW; and thereafter (b) select (by ranking) the best qualified vendor for this matter on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications to perform the services; (c) authorize the County Judge to initiate and complete negotiations with the highest rank vendor to determine a fair and reasonable price; and (d) direct that the County Judge thereafter deliver and present the results of that negotiation to the Commissioners Court for full consideration and a recorded vote-action by the Court on the proposed engagement agreement with said vendor as required by law. Discuss, Consider and take appropriate action concerning a request for a replat of lot 10 and a portion of lot 9, Kings Cove Estates, Block 1, in Burnet County, Texas to be known as lot 10A, Kings Cove Estates, Block 1, to clarify an old metes and bounds sale of a portion of lot 9. (Luther)
