An agenda packet containing detailed information on the items listed below is distributed to the County Judge, Commissioners, and County Clerk the Friday preceding the meeting. The agenda packet is also posted on the county website at www.burnetcountytexas.org, under Public Meetings. A hard copy of the agenda packet is available in the County Clerk's office. Our Mission Statement: The mission of Burnet County is to maintain overall efficient and effective management of county resources while providing the  services mandated by state and federal law and desired by the citizens of Burnet County.

Public Comments - Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.007 and the Burnet County commissioners court Rules of Decorum, any person may make comment on any item not appearing on the agenda. Any comments made will not be addressed by the commissioners court during the Public Comments agenda item. Public Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person.

Discuss, consider and take appropriate action concerning a request for a replat of lot 12, Block 2, County Line Estates, to be known as lots 12A and 12B, Block 2, County Line Estates, to remedy a foreclosure issue. (Collier)

5.
Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding FY26 Burnet County Budget Amendments:
(a) Jail Commissary transferring $70,000 to Supplies, fund 505-5132-3300, and $8,000 to Inmate TV, fund 505-5132-4560, for TV and mattress purchases.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to authorize the submission of applications, approve the grant application amounts, and authorize the County Judge to execute all necessary documents and actions for the FY27 SB22 Rural Law Enforcement Grant, with no county match required:
(a) Sheriff's Office - up to $350,000;
(b) County Attorney - up to $175,000;
(c) District Attorney - up to $275,000.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to approve, sign, and execute all necessary documents and actions regarding the following sponsorships for FY26 from the Hotel/ Motel Tax, fund 140-6640-4500:
(a) 2026 Oatmeal Festival, scheduled September 26, 2026, as a Stage Sponsor in an amount not to exceed $1,500; and
(b) Music on Main, Downtown Marble Falls - Fall 2026 Series, scheduled September 4 - November 15, 2026, as a Community Sponsor in an amount not to exceed $500.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to approve, sign, and execute all necessary documents and actions regarding the following sponsorships for FY27 from the Hotel/ Motel Tax, fund 140-6640-4500:
(a) Marble Falls Chamber of Commerce Fall Festival, scheduled October 22 - October 25, 2026, as a Premier Sponsor, in an amount not to exceed $1,000.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to establish minimum standards for the purchase and use of desktop and laptop computers to ensure compliance with purchasing policy and regulation and to support cybersecurity of Burnet County departments and offices:
(a) Discuss the financial impact of standards on FY26 obligations for computers and FY27 requests.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on setting a date and time to hold a public hearing on the FY27 budget and authorize Burnet County to publish notices of the public hearing, tax rate, and elected official salaries in local newspapers. (Wilson)

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action for the use and calculation of the FY27 Burnet County proposed budget regarding the following departments:
(a) Hotel/ Motel Tax;
(b) Human Resources;
(c) Agrilife Extension Office;
(d) Information Technology;
(e) Maintenance.
