The agenda packet is also posted on the county website at www.burnetcountytexas.org, under Public Meetings. A hard copy of the agenda packet is available in the County Clerk's office. Our Mission Statement: The mission of Burnet County is to maintain overall efficient and effective management of county resources while providing the  services mandated by state and federal law and desired by the citizens of Burnet County.

Public Comments - Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.007 and the Burnet County commissioners court Rules of Decorum, any person may make comment on any item not appearing on the agenda. Any comments made will not be addressed by the commissioners court during the Public Comments agenda item. Public Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person.

Discuss, consider and or take action to approve the selection of a vendor based upon quotes obtained by the Burnet County Purchasing Agent for the labor and materials needed to upgrade and improve the Burnet County Sheriff's Office in an amount not to exceed $20,000 from fund 710-5040-5770, previously approved in Commissioners Court on January 27, 2026, for fiber and connectivity. (a) The Commissioner’s Court reserves the right to adjourn into an Executive Session (also called a closed session meeting) at any time during the course of this meeting in order to lawfully discuss any item or matter appearing above on this agenda instrument, pursuant to any of the specific, closed session meeting exception provisions contained or described in chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code (the Texas Open Meeting Act, or “Act”) — including, but not limited to the following described statutory sections of the Act: 551.071 (consultation with attorney); 551.072 (deliberation about real property); 551.0725 (deliberation about contract being negotiated); 551.073 (deliberation about prospective gifts); 551.074 (deliberation about personnel matters); 551.0745 (deliberation about county advisory body); 551.076 (deliberation about security devices or analysis); 551.0761 (deliberation about critical infrastructure facility); 551.078 and 551.0785 (deliberation about an individual’s medical or psychiatric records); 551.087 (deliberation about economic development negotiations); and 551.089 (deliberation about security devices or security audits).
