County of Burnet {} On this the 24th day of April 2018, the Burnet County Commissioners Court met in regular session. The following members of the court were present:

Herb Darling, Development Services, presented the requests to the court and a statement of completion.

Herb Darling, Development Services, stated the KBDI is currently around 192 and some surrounding counties have enacted burn bans.

Department Updates
a. AgriLife Extension Office
Herb Darling, Environmental Services, stated his office is very busy.
Kelly Tarla and Linda Wells, AgriLife Extension Office, updated the court on programs, outreach programs in Burnet County and annual achievement reports.
ATX Floods
Matt Porcher, Austin Watershed Department, spoke on behalf of ATX Floods website. This website is at no cost to the County or residents. Mr. Porcher stated a phone app will be coming soon.
Judge Oakley stated this is a website and app that Burnet County and the Sheriff's Office can keep the data up to date concerning low water crossings.

Karen Hardin, County Auditor, added bids for cleaning the courthouse floors.
No action was taken at this time.
Karen Hardin, County Auditor, added a bid received for a new Mack truck for precinct #2.
Motion is made by: Commissioner Precinct 2 Russell Graeter, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery to authorize Precinct #2 to purchase a new Mack Truck on a 3 year lease in the amount of $111,599.00.

Motion is made by: County Judge James Oakley, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. to accept the proposal from Christian Care Cleaning and Janitorial Services in the amount of $5,526.00 for stripping, waxing and sealing the floors in the Courthouse.
