County of Burnet {} On this the 22nd day of August, 2018, the Burnet County Commissioners Court met in Special Session. The following members of the court were present:

2. Public Comments. Any person with business before the Commissioner’s Court not scheduled on the agenda may speak to the Court. No formal action can be taken on these items at this meeting. Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery stated Stephanie McCormick needs RSVPs from the Commissioners for the attending the CAPCOG General Assembly on September 12, 2018.
Judge Oakley stated the "Pink Out" will be held September 20, 2018.
Tax Anticipation Notes
Karen Hardin, County Auditor, stated the invitations to bid have been sent out. Bid will be awarded September 11, 2018.
Tuesday, November 6, 2018 General Election
a. Approve early voting schedule

Doug Ferguson, Election Administrator, presented a letter from Marble Falls I.S.D. requesting an additional voting location.
Motion was made by Commissioner Precinct 3 Billy Wall, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. to approve items a&b for the Tuesday, November 6, 2018 General Election.
Vote: 5 - 0 - Unanimously
Lots 3 & 4, Vista Del Rio P.U.D
Herb Darling, Environmental Services Director and Greg Mayes, Cuplin and Associates, presented the replat to the court.
Motion was made by Commissioner Precinct 3 Billy Wall, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery to approve a replat to combine Lots 3 & 4, Vista Del Rio P.U.D., into a single lot to be known as Lot 3A, Vista Del Rio, P.U.D.
Vote: 5 - 0 - Unanimously
Amended Personnel Policy
Sara Luther, Director of Human Resources, presented the proposed amendments to the court.
Motion was made by Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 2 Russell Graeter to approve the amended personnel policy as recommended by HR Committee.
Vote: 5 - 0 - Unanimously
Departmental Updates
a. Human Resources
Sara Luther, Director of Human Resources, updated the court on Positions/Classifications of job titles and job descriptions.
Judge Oakley stated the Tahoe for the Public Nuisance Officer Grant position has been received and is currently in the outfitting stage.
Judge Oakley stated the Public Nuisance Officer position needs to be clarified and reflect this position is solely grant funded.
Karen Harden, County Auditor, stated the job description cannot be amended until after the grant has been accepted.
Judge Oakley stated the four Constables and Herb Darling, Environmental Services Director, be on the hiring committee for the Public Nuisance Officer and make a recommendation to the court.
