James Oakley, County Judge, updated the court on the Legislative Session.

The court discussed the release of Subdivision Maintenance Bond #0706536 in the amount of $60,421.23 for Rio Ancho Subdivision, Section 2.

Motion was made by County Judge James Oakley, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. to approve the release of Subdivision Maintenance Bond #0706536 in the amount of $60,421.23 for Rio Ancho Subdivision, Section 2.

Vote: 5 - 0 - Unanimously

The court discussed the release of Subdivision Maintenance Bond #0426466-M in the amount of $364,839.21 for Summit Springs Subdivision.

Motion was made by Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. to approve the release of Subdivision Maintenance Bond #0426466-M in the amount of $364,839.21 for Summit Springs Subdivision.

Vote: 5 - 0 - Unanimously

The court discussed regarding the approval of a price increase from KONE elevator service.

Karin Smith, County Auditor, reported the price increase is comparable to surrounding counties going out for the same bid.

Motion was made by Commissioner Precinct 2 Damon Beierle, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. to approve a price increase from KONE elevator service.

Vote: 5 - 0 - Unanimously

The court discussed the approval of a Change Order No. 3 for CR 120 Reconstruction Project.

Jim Luther, Commissioner Precinct 1, reported this is to upgrade two intersections.

Motion was made by Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 2 Damon Beierle to approve the Change Order No. 3 for CR 120 Reconstruction Project.

Vote: 5 - 0 - Unanimously

The court discussed approval of the rural Capital Area Workforce Solutions Chief Elected Officials Agreement.

Karin Hardin, reported this agreement supports the Capital Area Workforce outreach program.   This agreement does not require a physical note.

Motion was made by Commissioner Precinct 3 Billy Wall, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. to approve the rural Capital Area Workforce Solutions Chief Elected Officials Agreement.

The court discussed approval of a declaration of 1986 tanker truck VIN # 1GDL7D1B4GV509484 as salvage property and approval of sale of said salvage property to the city of Marble Falls, a political entity located within Burnet County as authorized under Texas Local Government Code Sec. 263.152 for $8,650.00 and water pump.

Joe Don Dockery, Commissioner Precinct 4, reported that Mike Hodge, City Manager of Marble Falls, contacted Mr. Dockery and the City of Marble Falls was ready to move forward with the sale.

Sara Ann Luther, Human Resource Director, reported the county received the Safety Achievement Award from Texas Association of Counties.Herb Darling, Environmental Service Director, reported their office has been very busy.

James Oakley, County Judge, gave an update on the Historical Jail, Tourism and the Recycle building.

Herb Darling, Environmental Service Director, reported Burnet County received final approval of the On-Site Sewage Facility No.620032 from TCEQ.

Hoover Valley Volunteer Fire and Emergency Services, Inc. Audit Report.

The court discussed contracts, agreements or grants to be approved and/or ratified:

The court took no action on Item A.

James Oakley, County Judge, reported the Tourism Committee has agreed that an acceptable level of participation would be $1,000.00, and recommends that level to the Commissioners Court for approval.

Motion was made by County Judge James Oakley, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 3 Billy Wall to approve one thousand dollars to the City of Granite Shoals for the Granite Fest for Tourism.

James Oakley, County Judge, reported that Burnet CAD Property ID #65065 and Property ID #101425 owner's Steven and Cynthia Pearce  are appealing our no action on previous agenda dated 03/20/2019 for property relief for the penalty and interest paid in the amount of $552.16.  Judge Oakley requested for Eddie Arredondo, County Attorney, to review this appeal.

The court discussed Calendar Review.

James Oakley, County Judge, reported the Commissioner Court of Burnet County was served citation in cause #49394 in Robert Micheal Arteaga vs Burnet County, in the 424th District Court, Burnet Texas.
