Motion was made by Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr., Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 2 Damon Beierle to approve the use of County/District Court technology funds to replace an HDMI splitter for monitors in the courtroom in the amount of $43.98.

Departmental Updates
The court reported on the October 26th BOPATE event. Judge Oakley noted the success of the event with positive response from the community. Approximately $2100.00 was received in donations/revenue. There were no reported injuries, spills, or incidents. Comm. Dockery reported there are currently 12 55 gallon drums which have been filled. Additional drums are being picked up this week for remaining paint. Two full trailers of tires were collected. He thanked all those who attended and volunteered for their participation.

The court discussed the contracts with Love Fabrication and Clints Concrete Works for work on the command trailer shelter; Inmate Medical with Turn Key Health Clinics, LLC for the Burnet County Jail; the Burnet County and Burnet CISD Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the two additional classrooms to be used by the EOC; and the Addendum to the Hart Warranty, support and license agreement on the voting machines.
Comm. Dockery stated with the action being taken today, Clints Concrete Works could begin work as early as Tuesday, October 29, 2019.

The court discussed approval of the consent agenda. Judge Oakley added a request for additional lighting for trees around the courthouse. The quote of $1800.00 is to replace 70 strands of lights and the invoice to be included in this pay cycle.

Judge Oakley updated the court on the land at the North Annex. Judge Oakley contacted an appraiser for an appraisal of the property. The report has not yet been received. The cost will be set at a square foot price, with the square footage to be determined by the survey. The survey, which has been ordered, will take approximately 2-3 weeks to complete. The owner has asked the court to allow this to be paid over 1 years time as a lease with an option to buy. Once the debt has been satisfied, there would be a conveyance to the landowner.

9.g The court discussed a previous agenda item regarding the property transfer of a truck from Precinct 1, previously held, will be allowed to go to surplus. Additionally, a 2006 Chevrolet Impala from the District Attorney's office which was approved to go to surplus, was held by Judge Oakley until it can be determined whether it can be still be used.
