Commissioner Luther re-presented to the court from August 12, 2014: Item #12 Condemnation Proceedings for 308 Lakewood Dr., Legal Description S 7900 S Silver Creek Lot 596, Unit 1. He is requesting approval or verification to access and complete clean up of what remains of the structure. Eddie Arredondo, Burnet County Attorney, stated the court previously voted to take action on the property. It was assumed this was a part of that action, however the item is being readdressed as a precaution to ensure the court agrees with Comm. Luther finishing the clean up of that property.
Karin Smith, Burnet County Auditor, presented the Cybersecurity Course Enrollment Form for Counties. Effective, June 14, 2019, all local Government employees or elected officials who have access to a local government computer system or database must complete a cybersecurity training program certified by the Texas Department of Information Services. The Texas Association of Counties (TAC) offers this cybersecurity training course at no cost to the County. Participation in this program requests the approval from the Commissioners Court.
