Judge Oakley called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

Judge Oakley called for a moment of silence for Bruce Jackson and Rick Edwards, who had recently passed away.

Judge Oakley led the Pledge of Allegiance to the US and Texas flags.

The court discussed monies donated to local non-profit organizations from Mark Mayfield with the Texas Housing Foundation.

Mark Mayfield, Texas Housing Foundation, presented the court with donations to 13 local non-profits including CASA, Burnet County VetRides, Burnet County Welfare Board, Boy and Girls Club of Highland Lakes, Williamson Burnet County Opportunities, Inc., The Helping Center of Marble Falls, Lakes Area Care Inc., Joseph's Food Pantry, Holy Cross Food Pantry, Hill County Children's Advocacy Center, Highland Lakes Crisis Center, Highland Lake Crisis Network and the Community Resources Center.

The court discussed the delinquent collections with McCreary, Veselka, Bragg & Allen for Burnet County.

Noe Reyes, with McCreary, Veselka, Bragg & Allen, presented to the court the findings of the Delinquent tax collections report. 

Commissioner Dockery, presented to the court a Proclamation recognizing John Hughes 100^th Birthday.

Motion is made by: Commissioner Precinct 3 Billy Wall, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery to adopt the Proclamation recognizing John Hughes 100^th Birthday.

The court discussed the resolution by Burnet Central Appraisal District to purchase property adjacent to their building.

Dave Kithil, Burnet Central Appraisal District Board member, presented to the court a Resolution to purchase real estate at 215 S. Pierce Burnet, Texas for the expansion of the district's facilities for additional office workspace.

Motion is made by: Commissioner Precinct 2 Damon Beierle, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery to approve the Resolution by Burnet Central Appraisal District to purchase property adjacent to their building.

The court discussed the FY 22-23 Budget Adoption calendar. Karin Smith, County Auditor, presented to the court the FY22-23 Budget proposing to set the tax rate on August 9 and to have the public hearing and adoption of the budget on August 23.

Motion is made by: Commissioner Precinct 2 Damon Beierle, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 3 Billy Wall to adopt the FY 22-23 Budget Calendar.

The court discussed the FY 22-23 Budget Policy. Karin Smith, County Auditor, stated no change to the budget policy.
