Diane Tacket, Workforce Solutions, thanked the court for their service and support, explained to the court what Workforce Solutions for Rural Capital Area provides for Burnet County.
Judge Oakley read the proclamation to the court.

Nuisance Abatement
Eddie Arredondo, County Attorney, addressed the court about Public Nuisance at 5030 W. SH 29 Burnet, Texas, seeking an Order for violations of the Texas Health & Safety Code 343.011.
Cara Scofield, property owner, addressed the court about the property and agreed that it needs cleaning up.
Paul Kowalik, Environmental Deputy, addressed the court about public nuisance issues at 5030 W. SH 29 in Burnet county.
Motion is made by: Commissioner Precinct 2 Damon Beierle, Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 3 Billy Wall to adopt the Order to Remove Public Nuisances and Authorization to Take Action on the 46th day should owners fail to alleviate public nuisances and health hazards.

Broadband plan
Herb Krasner, Connect Burnet County, presented a slideshow to the court regarding broadband for Burnet County. He discussed the Federal funding from Texas Broadband Development Office through the Texas Comptroller. The Texas Broadband Development Office is managing over $500 million in funds that was allocated to Texas from the COVID-19 relief American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to upgrade the state’s broadband infrastructure.
