Carol Claning asked the court as to whom is responsible for adding agenda items for Commissioners Court. Eddie Arredando, County Attorney, addressed the question informing Mr. Claning as to how the process works and time lines due to state statute.

The court discussed approval of land purchase and acceptance of deed with Matt King for the additional right of way acquisition at CR 410 and Lakeside Beach Subdivision intersection. Commissioner Dockery informed the court that Mr. King had already executed the deed and was notarized.
Motion was made by Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr., Seconded by: Commissioner Precinct 3 Billy Wall to approve the land purchase and acceptance of deed with Matt King for the additional right of way acquisition at CR 410 and Lakeside Beach Subdivision intersection.
Vote: 4 - 0 - Unanimously

Commissioner Beierle, requested where the funds would come from. Ms. Smith informed the court that the funds to purchase the land would be coming from FY22 Tax Funds from Precinct 4, Road and Bridge.
