Discussion and/or action regarding the making of further findings and orders to be issued by the Burnet Commissioners Court regarding nuisances as defined by Texas Health & Safety Code Chapter 343 existing at 208 Deer Springs Dr. BCAD Property ID# 116184 is within the confines of Burnet County. Said property owner/occupiers were previously ordered by the Commissioners Court to alleviate all nuisances. Potential orders to be made include authorizing Burnet County to enter upon the property to remove all nuisances according to Texas Health & Safety Code Chapter 343 and seeking reimbursement as described thereafter (Oakley/Arredondo)
Giving authority to the county the opportunity to enter the property and abate the issue. This Order will give the property owner an opportunity to pay for the cost. If this doesn't happen, the county will have authority to put a lien on the property. Also, for a period of time after cleanup, the county will ensure the property doesn't get back to the condition it is now.

e. Apply for a grant for the Bertram Library from the Mitte Foundation. This grant is for conference room pods to allow for privacy, hiring a local artist to paint a mural in the library's children's area, constructing a new weatherproof awning, and patio furniture to be bolted down. The total cost is estimated at $60,000. There is no match requirement.
f. Approval to apply for and sign a resolution for a grant with the Texas Indigent Defense Commission for FY 2025 Indigent Defense Improvement Grant for the North Hill Country Public Defender's Office.
