Public Comments - Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.007 (b), any person may make comment on any item appearing on the agenda. Any comments made will not be addressed by the Commissioners Court during the Public Comments agenda item. Public Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person.
Judge Oakley welcomed Perry Thomas, newly elected District Attorney, Susan Patton with LCRA and Pedernales Electric Cooperative Representatives.

Patricia Cope asked for clarification on salary guidelines. Judge Oakley directed Mrs. Cope to Shirley Bullard, Human Resource Director.

Discussion and/or action regarding the acceptance of a $40,000 donation from Friends of the Burnet Library to Burnet County (Oakley)
She introduced Francine Carrara, Library Treasurer, and Florence Reeves, Library Director.
Colleen presented the donation to Burnet County in the amount of $40,000.00.
Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery, Seconded by Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. to approve the acceptance of a $40,000 donation from Friends of the Burnet Library to Burnet County.

Discussion concerning the FY24-25 Budget Build (Oakley)
Discussion and/or action concerning the replat of Lot 185-B, Windermere Oaks, Yorkshire Section, to be known as Lots 184-B and 185-C, Windermere Oaks, Yorkshire Section, a division of one (1) replatted lot back to the original two (2) lots (Dockery)

Damon Beierle, County Commissioner, asked about the request via email to see if there could be a separate contract. Judge Oakley directed question to County Auditor. Karin Smith, County Auditor, stated she would need to do research.
Judge Lisa Whitehead spoke stating Judge JaneMarie Hurst, request to use Linebarger Attorneys at Law.
Billy Wall, County Commissioner, suggested to table agenda item. Karin Smith, County Auditor, explained, if the court awards it and departments do not want to participate in the contract, they do not have to.
Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery, Seconded by Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. to approve Award the bid for third party delinquent fee and fine collections services.
