Damon Beierle, County Commissioner, called the meeting to order at 9:01 a.m.

Discussion and/or action regarding the acceptance of the offer of donation from the Lake Buchanan Conservation Corporation for the costs of installing a concrete slab, a bench, and an awning at the Burnet County Boat Ramp location in the Siver Creek area (Luther)

Discussion and/or action regarding scheduling a Town Hall and a Commissioners Court workshop meeting to receive public input on the potential purchase of new election equipment for Burnet County (Beierle)

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 2 Damon Beierle, Seconded by Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. to approve scheduling a Town Hall and a Commissioners Court workshop meeting to receive public input on the potential purchase of new election equipment for Burnet County on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 6:00 p.m at the Agrilife Building.

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr., Seconded by Commissioner Precinct 3 Chad Collier to approve lifting the burn ban today, February 11, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. for the unincorporated areas of Burnet County.

Discussion and/or action concerning the replat of lots WR-2 and WR-3, Wolf Creek Ranch Subdivision to be known as lots WR-2A, Wolf Creek Ranch Subdivision, a combination of 2 lots into 1 (Luther)

Discussion and/or action regarding conducting interviews of all applicants seeking the appointment for the vacant position of Burnet County Judge. Said interviews shall strictly be conducted by the members of the Burnet County Commissioners Court.
A. The Burnet County Commissioners Court may go into executive session as authorized under 551.071 of the Texas Government Code (Attorney Consultation) in order to consult with legal counsel regarding law on the selection of an official by a commissioners court.
B. The Burnet County Commissioners Court may go into executive session as authorized under 551.074 of the Texas Government Code (Personnel Matters) to deliberate the appointment of a Burnet County Judge

In the event of a failure to obtain a majority vote for the appointment, the Burnet County Commissioners Court may conduct further discussion and take action to modify the selection process previously outlined by the Burnet County Commissioners Court. (Beierle)
A. The Burnet County Commissioners Court may go into executive session as authorized under 551.071 of the Texas Government Code (Attorney Consultation) in order to consult with legal counsel regarding law on the selection of an official by a commissioners court
