Call to Order
Judge Wilson called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

Invocation led by Commissioner Chad Collier.

Public Comments - Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.007 (b), any person may make comment on any item not appearing on the agenda. Any comments made will not be addressed by the Commissioners Court during the Public Comments agenda item. Public Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person.

Item #5:
Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding approval of the Work Order for CR 411 dated July 8, 2025 between D.I.J. Construction in an amount not to exceed $3,900, bid 25-6100-02 Street Striping Projects awarded November 26, 2024. (Dockery)
The court discussed this agenda item.
 

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 2 Damon Beierle, Seconded by Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. to approve Work Order for CR 411 dated July 8, 2025 between D.I.J. Construction in an amount not to exceed $3,900, bid 25-6100-02 Street Striping Projects awarded November 26, 2024.

Vote: 5 - 0 - Unanimously

 
Item #6:
Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Burnet County Auditor's instructions on process to manage payments made by employees and elected officials without proper contract or PO. (Wilson)
The court took no action on this agenda item.
 
Item #7:
Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to revise the FY26 adopted budget calendar and set a special session for commoners court on July 23, 24, or 25 to discuss FY26 budget for the Sheriff's Office, Jail, and Constable Precinct 1, Constable Precinct 2, Constable Precinct 3, and Constable Precinct 4.
 

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 2 Damon Beierle, Seconded by Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. to approve to revise the FY26 adopted budget calendar and set a special session for commissioners court on July 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. to discuss FY26 budget for the Sheriff's Office, Jail, and Constable Precinct 1, Constable Precinct 2, Constable Precinct 3, and Constable Precinct 4.

Vote: 5 - 0 - Unanimously

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding the approval of Bond for Mary Chitwood, Precinct 4 Reserve Deputy Constable. (Wilson)

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr., Seconded by Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery to approve Bond for Mary Chitwood, Precinct 4 Reserve Deputy Constable.

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding budget inner departmental line item transfers: (Wilson)

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 2 Damon Beierle, Seconded by Commissioner Precinct 3 Chad Collier to approve budget inner departmental line item transfers.

Vote: 5 - 0 - Unanimously

Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action for the authorization of payment of claims previously approved by the County Auditor. (Wilson)
The court discussed this agenda item.
 

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr., Seconded by Commissioner Precinct 3 Chad Collier to approve authorization of payment of claims previously approved by the County Auditor.

Vote: 5 - 0 - Unanimously
