Item #3 Public Comments - Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.007 and the Burnet County commissioners court rules of decorum, any person may make comment on any item not appearing on the agenda. Any comments made will not be deliberated on by the Commissioners Court during this Public Comments agenda item. Public Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person.

Item #4 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding a burn ban for the unincorporated areas of Burnet County. (Wilson)

Item #5 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Burnet County commissioners court regularly scheduled meetings for FY26 in accordance with Local Government Code § 81.005. (Wilson)
 

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery, Seconded by Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. to return Burnet County commissioners court regularly scheduled meetings to the 2nd and 4th Tuseday of each month.

Item #6 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action recognizing the Burnet County Personnel Policies & Employee Handbook. (Wilson)

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery, Seconded by Commissioner Precinct 2 Damon Beierle to adopt the Burnet County Personnel Policies & Employee Handbook.

Item #7 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding revising Burnet County Commissioners Court Agenda Item Request Form to 'Agenda items and supporting documents are due to Court Coordinator’s Office (Rm. 201) or countyjudge@burnetcountytexas.org no later than noon on Tuesday prior to the meeting date requested.' as a result of H.B. No. 1522 from the Texas Legislative 89th Regular Session. (Wilson/ Glaeser)

Item #8 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding the acceptance of .75 acre property donated by Mr. Ray Bizzell in the Briggs, Texas.  Said property lies adjacent to land already owned by Burnet County and commonly referred to as the Briggs Community Center. (Beierle)

Item #9 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding replacing the transport vehicle that was a total loss for the Jail, and adjusting inmate carrying capacity fom 4 seats to 8 seats with the purchase of a Ford Expedition. (Wilson)

Item #12 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action for the authorization of payment of claims previously approved by the County Auditor. (Wilson)
 

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery, Seconded by Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. to approve payment of claims previously approved by the County Auditor.

Item #13 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding contracts, agreements or grants to be approved and/or ratified: (Wilson)
a. Approval to sign and execute all documents and actions to enter an Agreement between Bertram Chamber of Commerce and Burnet County;
b. Approval to sign and execute all documents and actions to enter an Agreement between Buchanan Dam Chamber of Commerce and Burnet County;
c. Approval to sign and execute all documents and actions to enter an Agreement between Burnet Chamber of Commerce and Burnet County;
d. Approval to sign and execute all documents and actions to enter an Agreement between Kingsland Chamber of Commerce and Burnet County;
e. Approval to sign and execute all documents and actions to enter an Agreement between Marble Falls/ Highland Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Burnet County;
f. Approval to sign and execute all documents and actions to enter an Agreement with Reliable Tire for the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event;
g. Approval to sign and execute all documents and actions to enter a renewal for FY26 Pest Control Services with Circle S Pest Control, Inc;
h.  Approval to sign and execute all documents and actions to enter a renewal of the Burnet County Tourism and Marketing FY26 Tourism Marketing Agreement with Victory Media Marketing; and
i. Approval to sign and execute all documents and actions to enter a Memorandum of Understanding Concerning Communication and Coordination Between Burnet Consilidated Independent School District Police Department and Burnet County Sheriff's Office (Wilson/ Boyd).
 

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery, Seconded by Commissioner Precinct 3 Chad Collier to approve a & c & to authorize County Judge to work with the Chamber of Commerce, Auditor, General Council and Burnet County Tourism Director to finalize agreements. Commissioner Damon Beierle Abstains.

Item #15 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding the commissioners court modifying regularly scheduled meetings. (Wilson)
 

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 2 Damon Beierle, Seconded by Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. Public Utility Commission Workshop Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at the Burnet Community Center.
