Item #24 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to approve, sign, and execute all necessary documents and actions regarding the following grants to be approved and/or ratified:
(a) Approval to apply for the Joint Commission on Mental Health "JCMH" Grant for Burnet County Court at Law with the maximum award of $280,500, with no match requirement;
(b) Approval to adopt a resolution and apply for the FY 27 TIDC Texas Indigent Defense Grant Program to fund an appellate attorney for the Public Defender's Office, with a requested award of $188,137.79 and a required match of 20%;
(c) Approval to adopt a resolution and apply for the FY 27 TIDC Texas Indigent Defense Grant Program to fund a mental health attorney for the Public Defender's Office, with a requested award of $181,592.79 and a required match of 20%; and
(d) Approval to adopt a resolution and apply for the FY 27 Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority (MVCPA) Catalytic Converter Grant for Burnet County's Heart of Texas Auto Theft Task Force, with a maximum award of $160,444.20 and a required match of 20%.

Item #6 Public Comments - Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.007 and the Burnet County commissioners court rules of decorum, any person may make comment on any item not appearing on the agenda. (a) Burn ban for the unincorporated areas of Burnet County; and
(b) Authorizing the Burnet County Judge to negotiate and enter into a contract with the identified best qualified vendor for RFQ 26-4060-01 and to begin an After Action Review and Report for the July 5, 2026, flood, in an amount not to exceed $25,000.

Item #13 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding unclaimed property capital credits for counties in conjunction with Local Government Code 381.004 and authorizing the county judge to request the funds available to Burnet County. (Wilson)

Item #14 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding authorizing the Burnet County Judge to amend, negotiate, and sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Burnet County and the Bertram Chamber of Commerce for the following:
(a) Approval of the installation of a marquee sign for the Bertram Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center, located within the Bertram Library, on the north side of the library; and
(b) Authorization to issue a letter of support granting permission for the Bertram Chamber of Commerce to install and maintain the marquee sign.

(b) Request to add Forfeiture Supplement for employee Cynthia Fey of $1.4423 per hour ($3,000 annually) from fund 180-4852-1056;

Item #17 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding the following supplemental pay for Public Defender employees for the remainder of FY 2026:
(a) Request to add a Supplement for employee Amber Greer in the amount of $4.33 per hour ($9,000 annually) from fund 100-4800-1040;
(b) Request to add a Supplement for employee Christina Sanders in the amount of $4.33 per hour ($9,000 annually) from fund 100-4800-1040; and
(c) Submit grant adjustment to Texas Indigence Defense Commission to reflect that 80% of these costs are state funds.

Item #18 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action concerning proposal received on Bid No. 26-6640-01 - Boat Dock Installation, in an amount not to exceed $150,057.05 from fund 140-6640-4000 or other source. Burnet County boat dock is located off FM 2341 midway on the east side of Lake Buchanan and will be for public use.

Burnet County boat dock is located off FM 2341 midway on the east side of Lake Buchanan and will be for public use.

Said case is filed in the 424th Judicial District Court and names Burnet County as additional defendant in the suit. (Wilson)
