Judge Bryan Wilson called the meeting to order at 9:02 a.m.

Item #4 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding presentation from YMCA and Meals on Wheels to provide congregate meals in Burnet County for Focus on Health for Elder Americans. (Wilson)

Marco Cruz, Executive Director of Opportunities for Williamson and Burnet Counties, spoke.

Item #5 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding presentation and acceptance of a donation from the Friends of the Library Herman Brown Library in the amount of $20,000. (Beierle)
Garrett Rowe, Treasure for Friends of the Herman Brown Library, presented a $20,000 donation check to the Herman Brown Library. 
Florence Reeves, Director of Herman Brown Free Library, spoke. 
 

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery, Seconded By Commissioner Precinct 1 Jim Luther, Jr. to approve acceptance of a donation from the Friends of the Library Herman Brown Library in the amount of $20,000

Item #6 Executive Session. An executive/ closed session meeting will be held pursuant to section 551.071(2) of the Texas Government Code (consultation with attorney) for the Commissioners Court to consult with and seek advice from its attorney regarding the proposed 765 kV electric transmission line to be located in Burnet County. (Wilson)

Item #10 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding hiring a second full-time clerk for Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 Office for the remainder of FY26. (Wilson/ Nelson)

Item #12 Discuss, consider and take appropriate action concerning the final plat approval of The Preserve of 1840, preliminarily platted as Oatmeal Preserve, a private subdivision consisting of 40 lots on 150.26 acres, located in the 4,000 block of CR 336. (Collier)

Item #13 Discuss consider and take appropriate action concerning a request for a replat of Reserve Tract A, Spicewood Trails Subdivision, to be known as Reserve Lots A-1 (1.50 Acres) and A-2 (2.024 acres), Spicewood Trails Subdivision. They will be served by public water and are proposed as commercial use with entry off Spicewood Trails Drive. (Dockery)

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery, Seconded By Commissioner Precinct 3 Chad Collier to approve replat of Reserve Tract A, Spicewood Trails Subdivision, to be known as Reserve Lots A-1 (1.50 Acres) and A-2 (2.024 acres), Spicewood Trails Subdivision. They will be served by public water and are proposed as commercial use with entry off Spicewood Trails Drive.

Item #24 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action concerning Request for Qualifications (RFQs):
(a) Designate the best qualified vendors in rank order for all vendors submitting qualifications in response to RFQ 26-4090-06 - a professional engineering firm to provide project management services related to SB3 Outdoor Warning Sirens Project.
(b) Authorize the Burnet County Judge to enter into negotiations with the identified best qualified vendor for a professional engineering firm to provide project management services and coordination with state and local governments in an amount not to exceed $50,000. If a satisfactory contract cannot be negotiated with the most highly qualified vendor, the Burnet County Judge will formally end negotiations and enter into negotiations with the next most highly qualified provider. Any negotiated contract to be approved by the Burnet County Commissioners Court.

(b) Road and Bridge, Precinct 2 transferring $1,000 from Operating Supplies, fund 320-6120-3300, to Uniforms, fund 320-6120-4820; and
(c) Sheriff's Office transferring $12,000 from Professional Services, fund 100-5600-4010, to Contracts & Agreements, fund 100-5600-4000.

Item #23 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to approve, sign, and execute all necessary documents and actions regarding the following contracts, agreements or grants to be approved and/or ratified:
(a) Upgrade the County Court at Law West Law Library Subscription to Westlaw Proflex, in an amount not to exceed $180;
(b) Enter a contract Defense Logistics Agency for Law Enforcement Support (LESO) for Constable Precinct 2;
(c) Enter an Interlocal Agreement and approval of Order between Burnet County and Marble Falls Independent School District (MFISD) to widen the entry driveway at the Ridge Harbor subdivision Gate 2 to accommodate bus traffic; and
(d) Enter an Interlocal Agreement and approval of Order between Burnet County and Burnet Consolidated Independent School District (BCISD) Summer Nutrition Program to use the Briggs Community Center parking lot for summer meal distribution to students.
