Item # 1 Call to Order    
Judge Bryan Wilson called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m.
 
 
Item #2 Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance to the Flags
Bryan Wilson, County Judge, led the invocation.

Item #3 Public Comments - Pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.007 and the Burnet County commissioners court Rules of Decorum, any person may make comment on any item not appearing on the agenda. Any comments made will not be addressed by the commissioners court during the Public Comments agenda item. Public Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person.

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 2 Damon Beierle, Seconded By Commissioner Precinct 3 Chad Collier to reopen public comment

Item #5 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to decommission Burnet County Sheriff's Office 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV. (Wilson)
 

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 3 Chad Collier, Seconded By Commissioner Precinct 2 Damon Beierle to approve  to decommission Burnet County Sheriff's Office 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV

Item#6 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to approve, sign, and execute all necessary documents for the Texas Historical Commission’s Antiquities Permit Application for Archeology related to the proposed improvements to Wirtz Dam Road from RM 1431 to RM 2147. (Dockery)
 

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery, Seconded By Commissioner Precinct 3 Chad Collier to approve the Texas Historical Commission’s Antiquities Permit Application for Archeology related to the proposed improvements to Wirtz Dam Road from RM 1431 to RM 2147.

Item #7 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action for the authorization of payment of claims previously approved by the County Auditor. (Wilson)
 

Motion is made by Commissioner Precinct 4 Joe Don Dockery, Seconded By Commissioner Precinct 3 Chad Collier to approve the authorization of payment of claims previously approved by the County Auditor.

Vote: 5 - 0 - Unanimously

 
Item #8 Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action for the purchase and use of laptop and desktop computers for use within the Burnet County technology and cybersecurity infrastructure.
(a) Authorize the County Purchasing Officer to seek and select a professional IT consultant to review the Burnet County IT infrastructure and make recommendations of minimum standards and specifications for said computers. Payment for said service shall be from fund 100-5040-5750 in an amount not to exceed $15,000.
(b) Authorize the County Purchasing Officer to prepare requests for proposals of laptop and desktop computers to be used with the Burnet County technology and cybersecurity infrastructure in an amount not to exceed $129,338 from fund 100-4090-5750 and/ or 100-5040-5750 OR to make said purchase from the Texas Department of Information Resources or similar cooperative purchasing program consistent with Burnet County purchasing policy and State law.
