TITLE:

Review of proposed parameters for the City's options to market, lease and develop 61 acres of currently vacant City owned land in the general area of the airport. DISCUSSION OF CITY MANAGER RECRUITMENT PROCESS.*

DESIRED OUTCOME:

The intention of the work session is to receive feedback regarding the possible options in order to ensure it isin alignment with City Council's intentions for the area and a business model that can be supported. COUNCIL DIRECTION*

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The City has 61 acres of currently vacant land that could be developed.  There are a number of potential paths forward ranging from a Request For Proposals to identify an entity with capacity for marketing, leasing and developing the property to performing services internally with a number of iterations in between.  The attached memo is intended to serve as the Executive Summary.
