EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The annual Wildfire briefing will present information on current/forecast conditions, staffing, and resource availability, and actions underway/planned to prepare for and respond to wildfires this summer in the greater Flagstaff area.
Presenters will include City of Flagstaff (Fire and Police), Coconino County (Emergency Management), and US Forest Service (Coconino National Forest).

INFORMATION:
Annual Wildfire season awareness and preparation is a year-round event involving many participants and partners. It is a Systems-based approach, involving Prevention, Preparedness, Hazard Mitigation, Suppression, and Recovery. The attached ppt program summarizes the plans, projects, jurisdictions, and staffing engaged in the effort, both within the City and with our adjacent partners.
