The City of Flagstaff's Economic Vitality, Police, Fire, Community Development, and Public Works divisions are creating a detailed relief plan, adding to current community efforts, to address the congestion on the 1-80 corridor during the winter season caused by snow play activity. This relief plan will show in detail where the funding set aside, from the Tourism Fund, will be used by each division working to mitigate the issue.

The report out tonight is to share the amount of funding that will be set aside and to discuss a timeline to come back in front of Council with the detailed plan.

This item was brought up during the recent April Budget Meetings with our City Staff and Council. The Council asked staff to create a formalized plan and to set aside more funding to implement the plan.
