TITLE:
Consideration of Appointment and Approval of Agreement: City Manager.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Appoint and approve the agreement for Barbara Goodrich as the City Manager effective October 13, 2018 for the City of Flagstaff.
Executive Summary:
The Flagstaff City Council approved the separation and release agreement for City Manager Josh Copley effective February 12, 2018. Barbara Goodrich was appointed as Interim City Manager effective February 12, 2018. The recommendation is to appoint Barbara Goodrich as City Manager and approve the Agreement for Services for October 13, 2018 through October 12, 2019.
Financial Impact:
The City Manager salary and benefits are currently budgeted.
Connection to Council Goal and/or Regional Plan:
The City Manager position is supportive in the planning and preparation of items connected to the Council Goals, Regional Plan and Team Flagstaff Strategic Plan.

No.
Options and Alternatives:
The Flagstaff City Council may consider other terms or conditions to be included and execute an updated Agreement.
