REQUESTED ACTION:
Approve a $10,000 matching Facade Grant
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Recommended Motion: Approve a grant allocation of $10,000 for 615 W Birch Ave for rehabilitation work on the home moved from 12 S Hillside with the condition that:
- the rehabilitation work meets the US Secretary of the Interior’s Standards, and
- excluding the new foundation and addition from reimbursement.
Alternative Actions:
The Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) for the Historic Façade and Signs Grant may:
- Approve the application as written – or –
- Approve per the staff-recommended motion – or –
- The Commission could request modifications to the proposal and include them as conditions of approval – or –
- Continue the HPC review to a date certain and ask the applicant to come back with a modified proposal that meets those conditions – or -
- Deny the grant request.
