Each year, typically in the Spring, the Commission creates an informal working group (defined on page 6 of the Boards & Commission Member Manual) comprising less than a quorum to work on grant materials updates such as updating the application, guidelines, and/or scoring rubric. The working group might do homework on their own and then meet up as a group to review the changes. The Working group then brings these changes to a Commission meeting to vote and approve changes.
