Executive Summary:
The liquor license process begins at the State level and applications are then forwarded to the respective municipality for posting of the property and holding a public hearing, after which the Council recommendation is forwarded back to the State. A Series 12 license allows the holder of a restaurant license to sell and serve spirituous liquor solely for consumption on the premises of an establishment which derives at least forty percent (40%) of its gross revenue from the sale of food. Southside Restaurant & Patio Bar, formerly known as Southside Tavern, is an existing business in Flagstaff that is under new ownership; if approved, it will be one of the 93 active series 12 licenses in Flagstaff. Series 12 liquor licenses are a non-quota license.
