Executive Summary:

A letter was sent from the City of Flagstaff to the ADOT Project Review Board on Oct. 24, 2025 ahead of the Board's meeting on Oct. 28, 2025. The letter formally requested three modifications to the programmed pavement rehabilitation project on SR40B (Route 66) from Alvan Clark Way to Fanning Dr through Flagstaff (eSTIP ID 104411). The three requests included 1) adjusting the project schedule to start work after June 2027 to avoid conflicts with the Route 66 Centennial Celebration, 2) including components that will bring the roadway into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG), and 3) requesting that ADOT work with the City to supplement project components to enhance Route 66 as a multimodal corridor.
