TITLE:
Consideration of Appointments: Planning and Zoning Commission
STAFF RECOMMENDED ACTION:
- Councilmember Spence to make one appointment.
- Councilmember Garcia to make one appointment.
Executive Summary:
The Planning and Zoning Commission consists of seven members, and serves as an advisory board to the Council on matters relating to the growth and physical development of the City. The Commission also conducts hearings on amendments to the Zoning Map, tentative subdivision plats, and Development Review Board appeals.

- Appoint two Commissioners: By appointing members at this time, the Planning and Zoning Commission will be at full membership, allowing the group to meet and provide recommendations to the City Council.
- Postpone the action to allow for further discussion or expand the list of candidates.
