Executive Summary:
The discussion regarding the declaration of Indigenous Peoples' Day began in 2016 and was most recently addressed by Council on September 18, 2018. In response to those discussions, Resolution 2018-45 declaring the second Monday of October as Indigenous Peoples' Day is attached for Council's consideration.
The attached resolution was crafted in a joint effort between the Indigenous Circle of Flagstaff and the City of Flagstaff.
