Findings:
The project is the reuse of an adjacent former restaurant on Birch St with the existing business Dark Sky Brewing on N. Beaver St. The project consisted of only paint color change and new sign. Project was reviewed under the Downtown Overlay utilizing "Design Handbook for Downtown Flagstaff". HPO worked with business owner to select colors compatible with adjacent buildings and in keeping with their theme. An important factor was preserving the natural brick noted in the design as unpainted. Sign is halo lit in keeping with the design handbook.
