TITLE:
Historic and Character Overlay Update
STAFF RECOMMENDED ACTION:
HPO will provide a short report regarding La Plaza Vieja and WC Riles potential overlay, noting attendance at neighborhood coalition meeting.
Executive Summary:
Work is ongoing in revisions for integration with Flagstaff Code provisions for La Plaza Vieja (LPV). LPV Overlay will be completed first prior to proceeding with the WC Riles Overlay. Mark Reavis attended the new Neighborhood Partnership Coalition Meeting on April 19th, 2023 at the Murdoch Center noting updates on the LPV Overlay, The Cleo Murdoch Neighborhood Park Project. He answered WC Riles neighbors' questions and affirmed that this area's overlay would be next after LPV is underway, which is expected this summer.
