Consideration and Approval of Letter of Support: Ratification of Letter of Support for ADOT Wildlife Crossing Overpass Grant Application
STAFF RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Ratify the letter of support.
Executive Summary:
In July of 2023, City staff received a request from the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) for a letter of support for a grant application for funding for a wildlife crossing overpass across I-17.
As wildlife corridors are featured in the City’s state legislative priorities, staff submitted the letter to ADOT on July 24, 2023 and placed the item on the consent agenda for the August 28 Council Meeting for retroactive approval.
