TITLE:
BNSF Communication Tower Section 106 consultation

FINDINGS:
Seciton 106 concurrence has been provided. BNSF has selected a tower type that will be compatible with the nearest towers and is going to continue to evaluate the potential to increase the distance between historic Southside homes and the tower. The selected site will have trees to screen the closest home. SHPO has concurred as well.
INFORMATION:
BNSF is relocating the communication tower on the north side of their current administrative building at 128 E Phoenix Ave to the switching yard to access it's new fiber line and avoid the Rio de Flag Flood Control project area. The replacement tower will be 100 feet tall and will be located on BNSF property and therefore does not require other City approvals.
