TITLE:
Consideration and Approval: Confirming appointees selected by Mayor for the citizen positions on PSPRS.
STAFF RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Confirm appointees selected by Mayor.
Executive Summary:
The Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Board has two citizens elected to this board along with the Mayor and staff from each department. The Authority papers state the Mayor selects the citizen positions which needs to be confirmed by the governing body. The chosen appointees are Kyle DeForest (new Commissioner) and David Boxtaele (current Commissioner).
Financial Impact:
These are voluntary positions, there is no financial impact by selecting the appoinments.
