Discussion on the possibility of speed humps in Flagstaff and how they could work with snow operations
DESIRED OUTCOME:
Discussion and direction on the addition of speed humps to the Residential Traffic Management Guide.
Executive Summary:
A FAIR was made by Mayor Daggett to discuss the possibility of speed humps and how they could work with snow operations. Staff looked at the guidelines and processes of other municipalities and worked with other City Divisions to identify potential requirements for the City of Flagstaff. Staff found that speed humps could be used in Flagstaff and could be added to the Residential Traffic Management Guide for future implementation.
Information:
After Council discussion, Staff will revise the Resdiential Traffic Management Guide as directed and take to Transportation Commission for approval.
