EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
2018 promises to be challenging: Conditions are such that large fires could occur in the southwest area, including the Flagstaff region. Wildfire is a team effort, and both the City and our many partners are prepared. This briefing will focus on fire history, trends and conditions, surprises to watch for, actions already taken, currently underway, or planned for this year, results, and resource availability. Presenting will be the Flagstaff Fire Dept, the Flagstaff Police Dept, Coconino County Emergency Management, and the U.S. Forest Service.
