TITLE:
Consideration and Possible Adoption of Ordinance No. 2018-33: An Ordinance of the Flagstaff City Council amending the Flagstaff City Code, Title 2, Boards and Commissions, Chapter 2-18, Commission on Disability Awareness, to update the commission name and nomenclature; providing for repeal of conflicting ordinances, severability, and establishing an effective date.

Executive Summary:
At the May 9, 2017 Council Meeting, City Council asked the Disability Awareness Commission to discuss its duties and to decide if a changing the name of the Commission may be appropriate. The Disability Awareness Commission has done this. The Commission is recommending a name change to "the Commission on Inclusion and Adaptive Living, and a few other minor amendments to its duties.
Financial Impact:
There is no financial impact with this name change.
Policy Impact:
Adopting this ordinance will update the Flagstaff City Code Section 2-18-001-0001.
