TITLE:
Consideration and Approval: 2020 Intergovernmental Priorities.
STAFF RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Staff recommends approving the revised 2020 intergovernmental priorities.
Executive Summary:
Adoption of the 2020 Intergovernmental Priorities will provide Staff, State Lobbyist Todd Madeksza, and Federal Lobbyist Bob Holmes with substantive direction to guide their work through the 2020 legislative session. The 2020 Intergovernmental Priorities are divided into State and Federal priorities.
A draft version of the 2020 Intergovernmental Priorities was presented to Council on November 19, 2019. The attached documents represent revised versions of the 2020 state and federal intergovernmental priorities. Please note that highlighted text represents changes made from the version presented on November 19, 2019.

On February 7th, 2019, the City Council agreed upon its 2019 – 2021 State Legislative Priorities. On January 17, 2017, the City Council approved its Federal Legislative Priorities. On November 19, 2019, the City Council gave feedback on the draft 2020 State and Federal Intergovernmental Priorities.
