TITLE:
Consideration and Adoption of Resolution No. 2026-30: A resolution of the Flagstaff City Council, approving an Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Flagstaff and Coconino County Fort Tuthill to provide fire and emergency medical services.

Executive Summary:
Staff recommends approval of the IGA with Coconino County (Fort Tuthill). This provides contract services, including fire and emergency medical responses to the property in the County island covered by the Fort Tuthill area. This contract has been reviewed by Coconino County.
Financial Impact:
This contract is effective July 1, 2026, expires June 30, 2031, and includes one five-year extension option. Contract services will generate $22,471.26 for year one of the contract, with a 2% increase per year thereafter. The City of Flagstaff places no additional needs on the contract.

Background and History:
Per City Ordinance 5-01, the city may enter into a service agreement to provide fire protection services for the areas not within the boundaries of the City.
