FINDINGS:
The Certificate of No Effect application for solar panel installation was reviewed and approved by the Heritage Preservation Officer.
INFORMATION:
The project proposes to install solar panels parallel to the roof plane on the east side of the second story of the building at 803 W. Aspen Ave. This building was constructed in 2024 and is located within the Townsite Historic Overlay Zone. This building is modern and non-contributing to the Flagstaff Townsite Historic Residential District. A contributing building is also located on the parcel (addressed as 803 1/2 W. Aspen Ave.) and is outside the scope of work for this project. The proposed project was determined to meet the criteria for a Certificate of No Effect.
