City Council Vacancy Interviews
DESIRED OUTCOME:
The City Council will conduct interviews of following candidates:
- Catherine Jadin
- Moses Milazzo
- Tyler Denham
- Robert Breunig
- Austin Kerr
The order of interviews was determined using an online randomizer.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On September 28, 2026 the City Council developed a process by which they would select a new City Councilmember to fill the vacant seat created by the resignation of Anthony Garcia.
The Council began accepting applications on October 1, 2026 and the application period closed on Monday, October 12, 2026. The Council received 28 applications. The City Council held a Special Work Session on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 where each applicant provided an introduction of themselves and why they wished to serve on the City Council.
Following the Special Work Session, the City Council selected the applicants listed above to move forward to the interview phase of the process.
