Dr. Robert Breunig, Director of the Museum of Northern Arizona (MNA), will give an overview of recent MNA program activities and capital improvements and share the vision for the museum's future. He will describe plans for the restoration and expansion of the museum’s Exhibit Building and future exhibits and programs. The presentation will also describe how the museum plans to engage with and better serve the community of Flagstaff and northern Arizona.
 
Background
MNA is an 85-year-old institution that documents, preserves and interprets the natural and cultural history and art of northern Arizona and the Colorado Plateau. Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, MNA engages in research, holds significant collections, and offers a variety of exhibits and educational programs. The museum is located on a 200 acre campus on North Fort Valley Road in Flagstaff and is one of Flagstaff’s major visitor destinations. The museum’s historic Exhibit Building, constructed in 1935, is on the National Register of Historic Places.
