On January 17, 2017 the City Council adopted its 2017 Intergovernmental Priorities. Since January, Council has directed staff to add two additional priorities:

  • Urge the federal government to pass carbon fee and dividend legislation in support of climate change legislation.
Prior to the beginning of the Arizona state legislative session, staff recommends Council approve the strategies for the Intergovernmental Priorities (highlighted in red), additional goals (highlighted in blue), and staffs edits.  If the Mayor and Council would like additional information on specific Intergovernmental Priorities, please contact Erin Ulloa who will schedule meetings with State Lobbyist, Richard Travis, and Federal Lobbyist, Bob Holmes.
