DESIRED OUTCOME:
To brief Council on the following topics: introduction of the two projects; overview of work plan; public involvement plan; and alternatives. Staff also wants to obtain feedback from Council on priorities, concerns, and objectives for the projects.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Arizona Department of Transportation's (ADOT) US180 and Milton Corridor Master plans will address congestion and identify long term (20 year) visions for the two corridors. ADOT's consultant, Michael Baker International, is tasked with identifying alternatives and to obtain public and stakeholder input in order to prioritize projects that can move forward with community support.
INFORMATION:
ADOT and its consultant have provided a PowerPoint presentation (see attached), will be available to brief Council on these projects, and will be available for discussion.
