EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On March 3, 2017, Mayor Evans requested that staff draft a resolution that calls for the Federal Government to adequately fund the maintenance of National Parks. Although Mayor Evans' request is partially addressed in Resolution 2017-39, the attached resolution more directly speaks to the Federal Government funding maintenance of National Parks.
The City Council reviewed the draft resolution on February 13, 2018, and directed staff to bring back a formal resolution for Council consideration and possible adoption.
