TITLE:
Affordable housing overview selected current project updates and presentation on public housing development/redevelopment tools. Additionally, an overview of city-owned property with development potential will be included.
DESIRED OUTCOME:
Informational presentation and seeking direction on Council's desire to proceed with potential redevelopment and identifying a partner through a Request for Statement of Qualifications (RSOQ).
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
In order to further Council's affordable housing goal and objectives, staff will present an overview of affordable housing, update the Council on a few current projects, and present on the potential for redevelopment of public housing and creation of additional affordable rental units. Additionally, an overview of city-owned property with development potential will be included.
