EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Citizen Petition #2020-01 was received on January 27, 2020, asking the Flagstaff City Council to "formally declare 2020 the year of the mother in Flagstaff, AZ to help promote and push conversations to take motherhood seriously to challenge local employers to find ways to better support mothers and get real about maternal mental health."
Council's Future Agenda Item Request (F.A.I.R.) discussion on February 18, 2020 advanced the petition to a future agenda for discussion and possible direction by the City Council.
